Timekeeping Exhibition
THE TIMEPIECE – A STRIKING SENSATION
The permanent exhibition “Wunder-Werk–Taschen-Uhr” (The timepiece – a striking sensation) draws visitors into the fascinating world of timekeeping, presenting more than a hundred historical timepieces spanning four centuries. The collection was bequeathed by the friends and family of Peter Hüttel von Heidenfeld, enabling these valuable timepieces to be admired by the public.

They testify to master craftsmanship and human ingenuity. At the same time, every one is a little work of art. The exhibits reflect the history not only of art and technology, but also of the humanities, social sciences and economics – the “story of our times” in more ways than one.
